Ground Investigation Risk Assessment Reports
Ashdown Site Investigation can advise on all aspects of environmental
assessment and site remediation.
Our engineering team can provide environmental desk study and quantitative
contamination risk assessment reports that can be presented either
individually or as part of a combined package along with geotechnical
advice.
Quantitative risk assessments for soil and groundwater based contamination
are carried out using both the CLEA model and Environment Agency
methodologies.
Remediation Action and Gas Management Plans
The company has developed a comprehensive investigation and remediation
design service to satisfy the most stringent requirements and comply
with the latest standards and legislation.
We can provide method statements and remediation action plans for:
- the cleanup of contaminated sites;
- groundwater quality improvement schemes (including the use of
quantitative risk assessment and groundwater modelling procedures);
and
- passive and active ventilation systems for buildings constructed
on gassing sites.
We have substantial experience in the investigation of former industrial
and commercial sites including fuel filling stations, disused gaswork
sites and landfills.
We are able to advise on the design of protection measures for
buildings on gas contaminated land, including the preparation of
gas management plans.
Site Supervision and Validation, Advice and Completion
Working closely with the regulatory authorities we can offer ongoing
advice on environmental protection and health and safety measures
during construction, including site inspections, monitoring and
validation testing, together with the preparation of closure reports.
We regularly provide certification for NHBC “Contamination Satements”.
