If, following the ground investigation works, soil contamination or ground gases are deemed to pose an unacceptable risk to the development, it is likely that remedial works will be required by either the regulators or warrantors to safeguard end users and/or controlled waters.
We can provide detailed remediation strategies and verification plans to clearly identify the works required. The provision of such a remediation strategy is frequently required to discharge pre-commencement conditions imposed on the development.
Once a strategy has been agreed with the regulator/warrantor we can provide ongoing monitoring and inspection during construction to confirm compliance with the strategy. On satisfactory completion of all required works, we provide a verification report for submission to the regulator/warrantor to allow final discharge of any conditions.
