Remediation Strategies and Verification Works

Where an investigation has identified contamination which poses an unacceptable risk to the human health or controlled waters, remedial works will be required to mitigate these risks. Setting out what works are necessary in a “Remediation Strategy” is often a requirement of planning or warrantor conditions, or can be required to satisfy other regulators.

Ashdown Site Investigation Ltd. provide detailed remediation strategies which assess available options and set out the works required and any longer term monitoring that may be necessary, together with verification plans detailing what evidence will be compiled to show that the works have been undertaken successfully.

Following approval of the remediation strategy, we undertake the inspections, monitoring and compliance testing necessary to demonstrate that identified risks have been properly addressed, and then compile a verification report for submission to the regulator/warrantor.
