Graduate Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit a graduate geotechnical engineer/geologist based out of our Head Office in Ditchling, West Sussex, starting immediately.

The role is mainly site based, with principal duties including:

• Assisting with and ultimately supervising site work (drilling boreholes, excavating trial pits, undertaking in-situ testing, sampling, logging etc.) in accordance with instructions and training.
• Drafting of borehole/trial pit logs.
• Scheduling of laboratory testing.

The role does involve physical work such as assisting with moving of test equipment and excavation of inspection pits.

Secondary office duties would include:

• Drafting of logs and reports under supervision.
• Liaising with clients.
• Assisting with organising and scheduling site works.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. However, any experience would be advantageous.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving license. You must be willing to work in all weather conditions. Site works will generally involve early and punctual start times. As the role involves physical work, you should be reasonably fit and capable of manual work. Remuneration will be negotiated commensurate with experience.
